OVERVIEW: In 2014, the Uruguay's Catholic University, through their Corporate Communication Department begun their Drupal 7 website improvement process. Kadabra IT joined forces from the beginning becoming a strategic partner, providing our expertise to improve ucu.edu.uy.

WHAT THEY NEEDED: UCU was looking for a technological partner to help them transform the portal into a flexible and responsive communication tool adapted to their communication needs. On the other hand, the IT Department of the University was concerned about website performance and security.

HOW WE HELPED THEM: After understanding the scenery and defining the University communication needs, we set up together a route to transform ucu.edu.uy into an optimized tool to meet their needs for internal and external communication. To accomplish their goal, we implemented an automatic deployment workflow with 3 environments.On the other hand, we work hard to improve the security and performance achieving security standards compliance and good practices.

OTHER: Currently, we are defining a route map to create a multi-portal system over Drupal 8, and migrate all UCU portals to this new tool.
